The Shadows of Rhodes
About
Beyond the beauty and peaceful ruins of the Greek island of Rhodes, smuggling of ancient arts and relics, and the search for looted religious articles pillaged from the Greek Orthodox churches of Cyprus is ongoing. An old picture of a child may hold the key to uncovering the whereabouts of many lost pieces. A tourist innocently purchases this photo, which the local residents react strangely to, when Helena asks about the child pictured. Is it fear, or superstitious beliefs that garner such radical reactions when questioned about it? Helena discovers that asking too many questions attracts the attention of unsavory individuals, which creates more questions.
Praise for this book
A fun, romantic read! I enjoyed the characters in this story very much.
I was instantly transported to their world, and intrigued by the challenges, mystery and romance they encountered. As someone who used to travel a lot, it all felt very real like I was right there alongside them. Enjoy this entrancing adventure if you love escaping to another world through storytelling!
If you love Under the Tuscan Sun but with Mystery- Enjoy!

Loved the all consuming passion between Helena and Dimitris. I also loved the twists, turns and people who tried to get I their way. Good read!
